Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son has just signed Decision No. 984/QD-TTg to supplement members of the Prime Minister's Working Group on the peak of the fight against and repelling smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods.
According to the Decision, Mr. Trinh Manh Linh - Deputy Head of the Government Office - is a member of the Prime Minister's Working Group on the peak of the fight against and repelling crimes of smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods.
Previously, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son also signed Decision No. 950/QD-TTg to establish a Prime Minister's Working Group on the peak of the fight against and repelling smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods (Work Group).
The Head of the Working Group is Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son - Head of the National Steering Committee 389.
The Deputy Heads of the Working Group are members of the National Steering Committee 389, including: Vo Minh Luong - Deputy Minister of National Defense; Nguyen Ngoc Lam - Deputy Minister of Public Security; Nguyen Duc Chi - Deputy Minister of Finance; Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.
Members of the Working Group were members of the National Steering Committee 389 including: Do Xuan Tuyen - Deputy Minister of Health; Tran Thanh Nam - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment; Trinh Thi Thuy - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Bui Hoang Phuong - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; Do Thanh Hai - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television Station; Ngo Minh Hien - Deputy General Director of Voice of Vietnam Radio; Nguyen Thi Su, Deputy General Director of Vietnam News Agency; Le Thanh Hai - Chief of Standing Office 389 National Steering Committee.
The working group is responsible for directing, inspecting, and urging ministries, branches, localities, and functional forces to implement the launch of a peak period against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and goods that infringe intellectual property rights.
Direct the inspection and recommendation of handling of organizations and individuals who lack a sense of responsibility, are negative, are lax in management, assist in smuggling, trade fraud, production and trading of counterfeit goods, and violate intellectual property rights.
Requesting relevant ministries, branches, localities and functional forces to provide information on the situation and results of combating smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the area and field of management; documents on the case of violations when necessary.
Conduct a summary and evaluation of the implementation of the Official Dispatch; propose to the Prime Minister directions and solutions to solve important, inter-sectoral problems to improve the effectiveness of the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods; report to the Prime Minister on the results.
