Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long signed Decision No. 283/QD-TTg dated February 14, 2025 assigning the drafting agency, the deadline for submitting draft laws to be adjusted and added to the 2025 law and ordinance making program.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside over the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Economic and Efficient Energy Use; submit to the Government in February 2025 and submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee in March 2025.
The Ministry of Science and Technology will preside over the drafting of the Law on Atomic Energy; submit to the Government in February 2025 and submit to the National Assembly Standing Committee in March 2025.
The Ministry of Public Security is in charge of drafting 2 projects: Law on Enforcement of Temporary Detention, Temporary Imprisonment and Prohibition from Leaving the Place of Residence; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Enforcement of Criminal Judgments, submitting to the Government in May 2025 and submitting to the National Assembly Standing Committee in August 2025.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested Ministers and Heads of ministerial-level agencies to preside over the drafting of draft laws that are adjusted and supplemented to the 2025 law and ordinance making program to directly direct the development of draft laws in accordance with the procedures prescribed in the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents.
Conduct a full review of relevant documents to detect and handle differences between the provisions in current legal documents and documents expected to be issued; organize the collection of opinions from agencies, organizations and individuals, especially the collection of opinions from subjects directly affected by the document.
