On August 28, the Government Office said that Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has just signed Decision No. 1666/QD-TTg on consolidating the Central Steering Committee for Housing Policy and Real Estate Market (Steering Committee).
Accordingly, consolidate the Central Steering Committee for Housing Policy and Real Estate Market, including the following members:
The Head of the Steering Committee is Politburo Member, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc.
The Deputy Head of the Steering Committee is Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh.
The members are leaders of ministries, branches and central agencies including: Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc - Deputy Minister of National Defense; Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung - Deputy Minister of Public Security; Deputy Chairman of the Government Office Pham Manh Cuong; Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha; Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thanh Tu; Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Dang Ngoc Diep; Deputy Minister of Finance Ta Anh Tuan; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Huy Dung; Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan; Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions Y Vinh Tor; Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh; Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Ngoc Canh; Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Duc Phong.
The Central Steering Committee for Housing Policy and Real Estate Market is consolidated on the basis of the Central Steering Committee for Housing Policy and Real Estate Market established under Decisions No. 360/QD-TTg dated April 4, 2008 and Decision No. 1499/QD-TTg dated October 14, 2008 of the Prime Minister.
The Central Steering Committee for Housing Policy and Real Estate Market is an inter-sectoral coordinating organization, with the function of assisting the Prime Minister in researching, directing, and coordinating to solve important inter-sectoral issues beyond the jurisdiction of a ministry, sector or locality on housing policy and real estate market nationwide.
The Steering Committee has the task of assisting the Prime Minister in directing and coordinating inter-sectoral and local levels in implementing housing and real estate policies nationwide; promptly summarizing and proposing to competent authorities to consider and handle inter-sectoral issues arising during the implementation process.
