After listening to the delegates' comments and concluding remarks at the meeting, Party Central Committee member and National Assembly Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong highly appreciated the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee for always thoroughly grasping and seriously implementing the Party and State's policies on innovation and reorganization of the apparatus to help the apparatus become streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently.

Based on the opinions at the working session, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong suggested that the Foreign Affairs Committee complete the Projects more clearly and specifically; proactively review related contents to advise on amending the Law on Organization of the National Assembly, the Law on Organization of the Government, the Law on International Treaties; and participate in giving comments on the Government's Decrees as proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Based on the proposal of the Foreign Affairs Committee, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will coordinate with the Foreign Affairs Committee to participate in developing and completing the Projects.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong also noted that the innovation and reorganization of the apparatus must ensure the principle that any issue that is the responsibility of the elected body will not be transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Previously, in document 141 on the orientation of arranging and streamlining the Government apparatus, the Government's Steering Committee on summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW assigned the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to proactively coordinate to take over the main tasks of the Central Commission for External Relations, the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee after the end of the activities of the Central Commission for External Relations, the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee.

The Government's Steering Committee also assigned the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to draft a Decree stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs after the reorganization.
