The People's Committee of Quang Binh province has just issued a document directing departments, branches, sectors and localities in the area to review and temporarily suspend the implementation of new construction works, repair, renovation and upgrading of working headquarters of district and commune-level administrative agencies. The review results must be reported to the Department of Finance before March 7, 2025.
This suspension is to implement Conclusion No. 126 dated February 14, 2025 and Conclusion No. 127 dated February 28, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on continuing to reorganize and streamline the apparatus of the political system.
Quang Binh province emphasized that the temporary suspension of investment projects and headquarters upgrades is to ensure efficiency, savings and prevent waste. This also facilitates the arrangement and assignment of public assets after streamlining the apparatus according to the direction of the Central Government.
