Chairman of the Law and Justice Committee Hoang Thanh Tung said that the workload at the upcoming 9th Session is very large, including many unprecedented cases.
The National Assembly will review, comment on and approve about 40 laws and resolutions; comment on 7 draft laws; review and decide on 12 socio-economic issues, supervise and decide on other important issues.
The Law and Justice Committee is advising the National Assembly Standing Committee on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
At the same time, preside over the review, participate in receiving, revising, and submitting to the National Assembly for approval 16 draft laws and draft resolutions; review and submit to the National Assembly for comments on 4 draft laws.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Dinh said that from now until the end of the term, the workload of the National Assembly is very large, especially the contents considered and approved at the 9th session.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly suggested that the Standing Committee of the Committee and members of the Committee promote the tradition, continue to contribute and shoulder great responsibility in performing assigned functions and tasks.
