Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung said that the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly is expected to take place over 1.5 months with 30 working days.
According to the Secretary General of the National Assembly, the session at the end of this year will spend 14.25 days on legislative work.
On that basis, 19 draft laws will be reviewed and approved. For the remaining 13 draft laws, it is expected to be discussed by the National Assembly in groups and halls.
In addition, the Government has submitted to the National Assembly 21 other draft laws, including: Law on Cyber Security (replacement); Law on E-commerce; Law on Tax Administration; Law on Food Safety (replacement); Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; Road Law...
Regarding socio-economic issues, state budget, supervision and other important issues, Mr. Le Quang Tung said that this content will be worked on for 14.25 days.
In particular, the National Assembly will spend time evaluating the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan, state budget in 2025; results of the implementation of the 5-year plan on socio-economic development; restructuring the economy; medium-term public investment; national finance and loans, repayment of public debts.
Consider reports on judicial work, corruption prevention, crime prevention and control and law violations, results of monitoring the settlement of voters' petitions, receiving citizens, handling petitions and letters and handling complaints and denunciations of citizens.
At the same time, the National Assembly also reviewed reports and questioned members of the Government, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy, and State Auditor General in the implementation of a number of resolutions of the 14th and 15th National Assembly on thematic supervision and questioning (in halls, within 3 days).
The National Assembly also spent time discussing the draft report on the work of the 15th term of the National Assembly; reports on the work of the term of the President, the Government, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committees, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, and the State Audit.
In order to promptly prepare carefully for the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly, the Secretary General of the National Assembly requested the Government, National Assembly agencies, and relevant agencies to proactively conduct a comprehensive review to fully identify the contents submitted to the National Assembly at the Session; limit the proposal to supplement and adjust the session agenda during the Session.
