On the afternoon of January 30, in Hanoi, the General Department of National Defense Industry (CNQP) organized a meeting with press agencies in 2026.
Lieutenant General Dinh Quoc Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the General Department of CNQP chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were Ms. Dinh Thi Mai - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; leaders, commanders, reporters, and editors of press agencies inside and outside the Army.
In 2025, the coordination of propaganda between the General Department of CNQP and press agencies inside and outside the Army achieved many important results.
Press agencies have published more than 22,200 news, articles, reports, and documentaries in the mass media about the activities of the General Department, especially propaganda on the implementation of strategic advisory functions with the Party, State, Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense; on scientific research, defense production, economy and activities to ensure serving major events of the country (A50, A80)...
This is the year with the largest number of propaganda works published to date, thereby affirming the position and role of the CNQP industry in general and the General Department of CNQP in particular in the new era.
Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Dinh Quoc Hung thanked the press and media agencies for being attached and accompanying the General Department of CNQP in the past year; requested that in 2026 and the following years, press and media agencies continue to strengthen coordination in propaganda, regularly, promptly, and comprehensively reflect the activities of the General Department, closely following the theme of the task "Determined to research and produce advanced and modern technical weapons and equipment".
Promote propaganda to implement the CNQP development strategy to 2030 and the following years. Proactively innovate propaganda content and forms in the direction of ensuring political orientation, educational value, vividness, attractiveness, and persuasiveness; apply digital technology, promote the strengths of multimedia journalism and modern media.
On this occasion, the General Department of CNQP awarded Certificates of Merit to officials and reporters with outstanding achievements in press propaganda about the activities of the General Department of CNQP in 2025.
