Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung has just signed Decision No. 1751/QD-TTg dated August 18, 2025 of the Prime Minister approving the Data Strategy at the National Data Center.

The goal by 2030 is that 100% of national databases and specialized databases will connect, integrate, and share synchronously with the National General Database according to regulations to ensure comprehensive synthesis of information and data from national and specialized databases; connect data with specialized databases and domestic and foreign information systems.

100% of data related to Vietnamese citizens and foreigners living and working in Vietnam are synchronized to the National General Database.

At the same time, develop other shared services and applications for ministries, departments, branches and localities; supplement convenient services and applications for people and businesses based on the maturity of data; connect, exchange and share information and data with organizations and businesses of countries around the world according to demand.

Strive for at least 90% of administrative procedures of ministries, branches and localities to be qualified and provided online; people and businesses do not have to re- Provide information, documents and papers that have been accepted when successfully performing previous administrative procedures.

Ensure that 100% of the country's online public services are deployed centrally on the National Public Service Portal at the National Data Center to become the only "one-stop" point.

100% of people and businesses use online public services and 90% of people and businesses participate in the e-Government system with seamless electronic identification, unified on all systems of government agencies from central to local levels.

By the end of 2025, the legal basis will be built and completed and the construction of National Data Center No. 01 and core technology systems and platforms will be completed, the construction of an inter-regional national data transmission infrastructure project will be built, serving data security, developing digital government, digital economy and digital society of Vietnam.

Ensure the ability to store large, integrated data, connect with national and specialized databases to serve the direction and administration of authorities at all levels, resolve administrative procedures and provide online public services, and develop the socio-economy.

At the same time, a national comprehensive database will be formed from: shared data warehouses, specialized data warehouses, comprehensive data warehouses, shared portfolio data warehouses, open data warehouses and related data warehouses.

Planning storage storage, designing in detail the organization, storage, integration, management of data and information security and safety policies suitable for the subjects, methods of access, and exploitation rights for each type of data.

By the end of 2030, complete and put into operation National Data Center No. 02 (with all approved items, capable of storing large data, ensuring security and safety), connecting and integrating with all national databases, specialized databases and information systems, databases of ministries, branches and localities according to regulations.
