Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has just signed and issued Resolution No. 1672/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Lang Son province in 2025.
The National Assembly Standing Committee decides to reorganize to establish commune-level administrative units of Lang Son province.
The communes include: That Khe, Doan Ket, Tan Tien, Trang Dinh, Quoc Khanh, Khang Chien, Quoc Viet, Binh Gia, Tan Van, Hong Phong, Hoa Tham, Quy Hoa, Thien Hoa, Thien Thuat, Thien Long, Bac Son, Hung Vu, Vu Lang, Nhat Hoa, Vu Le, Tan Tri, Van Quan, Diem He, Yen Phuc, Tri Le, Tan Doan, Khanh Khe, Na Sam, Hoang Van Thu;
Thuy Hung, Van Lang, Hoi Hoan, Loc Binh, Mau Son, Na Duong, Loi Bac, Thong Nhat, Xuan Duong, Khuat Xa, Dinh Lap, Thai Binh, Chau Son, Kien Moc, Huu Lung, Tuan Son, Tan Thanh, Van Nham, Thien Tan, Yen Binh, Huu Lien, Cai Kinh, Chi Lang, Quan Son, Chien Thang, Nhan Ly, Bang Mac, Van Linh, Dong Dang, Cao Loc, Cong Son, Ba Son.
The wards include: Tam Thanh, Luong Van Tri, Ky Lua, Dong Kinh.
After the arrangement, Lang Son province has 65 commune-level administrative units, including 61 communes and 4 wards.
This Resolution takes effect from the date of approval (June 16).
The competent authorities urgently carry out necessary preparations to ensure that local authorities in commune-level administrative units formed after the arrangement prescribed in Article 1 of this Resolution officially operate from July 1, 2025.
Local authorities in commune-level administrative units before the reorganization will continue to operate until the local government in commune-level administrative units is formed after the reorganization and officially operates.
The Government, the People's Council, the People's Committee of Lang Son province, local authorities, administrative units related to the implementation of the arrangement and other relevant agencies and organizations are responsible for organizing the implementation of this Resolution.
Arrange and stabilize the apparatus of local agencies and organizations; stabilize the lives of local people, ensure the requirements of socio-economic development, national defense and security in the area.
Assign the Government, based on this Resolution and Project No. 385/DA-CP of the Government, to organize the accurate determination of the natural area of commune-level administrative units and publicly announce it before September 30, 2025.
At the same time, urgently deploy the work of measuring and determining the boundary scope of administrative units on the field to prepare documents on the boundary of administrative units according to regulations.
