On September 23, Inspection and Supervision Delegation No. 221 of the Politburo and the Secretariat organized a Conference to approve the draft report on the results of inspection and supervision (phase 3) for the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee.
Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu - Head of Inspection and Supervision Delegation No. 221 and Politburo Member, Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung co-chaired the conference.
Speaking at the conference, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized that cadre work is a key stage in Party building. Correct and strict regulations are necessary, but the decisive thing is to detect, select, and arrange the right people for the right jobs; cadres must have capacity, bravery and conditions to perform tasks; work efficiency must be evaluated substantively, and power must be strictly controlled.
The Standing Committee of the Secretariat requests to improve the quality of planning, transfer, rotation, appointment, arrangement, and use of cadres.
In which, focus on directing the effective implementation of cadre evaluation in a substantive direction, associated with job positions, groups of titles, products, specific efficiency and level of contribution, ensuring correct evaluation of products, capacity, and cadre positions.
Strengthen inspection, supervision, and power control in personnel work, focusing on all stages from planning, evaluation, transfer, rotation, appointment, introduction of candidates, implementation of regimes and policies; promote the responsibility of heads at all levels, strengthen regular supervision to prevent violations from early and far; promptly inspect and handle degradation in ideology, politics, morality, lifestyle, corruption, negativity, and wastefulness.
Continue to review and resolve regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants, and public employees due to the arrangement of the organizational structure to ensure the right subjects and procedures according to regulations.
Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung stated clearly that the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee has made many innovations in the work of organizing, thoroughly grasping, learning and implementing resolutions and conclusions, concretizing task groups into specific and quality results and products.
Focus on doing well in personnel work, training, planning, evaluation, and personnel rotation are gradually being innovated.
After this conference, the Prime Minister said that he will organize a review of all recommendations of the Inspection Delegation; develop a roadmap, detailed plan, and assign tasks to Party committees and Party organizations at all levels to thoroughly overcome existing shortcomings and limitations and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the direction and administration of the Government Party Committee.
Focus on doing well in personnel work, further promoting the pioneering and exemplary spirit of the contingent of cadres and party members and the responsibility of heads, especially Party Secretaries; have strong measures to properly and promptly assess and arrange and replace cadres under their authority.
At the same time, do a good job of planning, attracting and valuing talents and digital transformation, accelerating the process of completing the data system on cadre and party member work.
