On November 7, the Central Steering Committee for the Month of Action on occupational safety and health held a meeting to summarize the Month of Action on occupational safety and health in 2025 and the plan to organize the Month of Action on occupational safety and health in 2026.
In his opening speech, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Manh Khuong generalized that the activities of the Month of Action on occupational safety and health and the Workers' Month in 2025 have received the great attention, support and active response of most ministries, branches, localities, enterprises and workers nationwide.
At the conference, delegates also gave their opinions on the theme, time and contents expected to be implemented in the Month of Action on occupational safety and health in 2026, and agreed on a number of coordination and implementation tasks between the Central Steering Committee, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province.

Speaking at the meeting of the Steering Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu assessed that the report from the Steering Committee's coordination plan was complete, close to reality and in line with practical requirements.
Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu emphasized that the launch in recent years has been implemented methodically, many localities have participated, and the launching work has been closely organized, from the state agency trade union to provincial and local levels.
However, he also noted that the response level of the business community, grassroots authorities, trade unions at all levels, and workers is still uneven.
Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu said that inspection, examination and supervision work needs to be carried out more strictly, in which the members of the Steering Committee must grasp the situation at their units and inter-sectoral levels, conduct field inspections and report the results to the Steering Committee for synthesis.
At the same time, propaganda and awareness raising about labor safety and hygiene are still not strong enough, requiring a continuous presence in the media to create a widespread social effect.
Regarding the organization plan, he highly appreciated the experience of localities in organizing major events, and at the same time proposed solutions for activities: Mobilizing employers and employees, creating a safe working environment based on technology and modern management.
Regarding inspection and evaluation of results, he proposed to implement in two stages: In mid-May, the implementation will be inspected, in mid-June, the results of each locality will be evaluated to ensure methodical and effective implementation.
