In Decision No. 686/QD-TTCP of the Government Inspectorate, it is clearly stated: Decision to conduct a large-scale thematic inspection of gasoline and oil business activities.
Inspection period: From January 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026. When necessary, it is possible to inspect contents related to before and after the above inspection period. Inspection period: 30 days, from the date of announcement of the Inspection Decision.
The Inspection Delegation is headed by Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Senior Inspector, Director of the Department of Inspection, Settlement of Complaints and Denunciations in the fields of culture, sports, tourism, diplomacy (Department XI), Government Inspectorate.
Speaking at the announcement of the inspection decision, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Head of the inspection team, said that this is a thematic inspection with a wide scope, directly related to the field of gasoline and oil business, a particularly important field for the economy and people's lives.

Therefore, the Inspection Team needs to deploy tasks with a spirit of urgency, seriousness, objectivity, focus, key points, in accordance with the provisions of law, ensuring quality, efficiency and set progress; not obstructing the normal operation of agencies, organizations, and enterprises that are subject to inspection.
The inspection team needs to focus on detecting inadequacies in the management mechanism, loopholes in the organization of implementation as well as violations (if any), thereby proposing strict handling according to regulations and proposing amendments and supplements to inadequate regulations to improve the efficiency of state management.

The head of the inspection team requested that ministries, branches, localities, units and enterprises subject to inspection should closely coordinate with the inspection team, prepare complete dossiers and documents as required, arrange working focal points, and promptly exchange and explain arising issues to ensure the progress and quality of the inspection.
At the announcement of the inspection decision, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade affirmed that they will closely coordinate with the Government Inspectorate and direct affiliated units to seriously implement the inspection decision, and provide complete information and documents to serve the activities of the Inspection Team.
