Voters in Hai Phong City have just proposed considering and issuing regulations on coordination in inspection activities, especially sharing databases related to land, investment, budget and businesses.
At the same time, strengthen the application of information technology and digital transformation in inspection activities, shorten verification time and improve transparency.
Regarding this issue, the Government Inspectorate said that practice shows that full and timely access to information related to land, investment, budget and enterprises is important in improving the quality of inspection activities, shortening verification time and limiting duplication and overlap in inspection and examination activities.
Current law has stipulated the responsibilities of agencies, organizations, and individuals in providing information and documents to serve inspection activities and the responsibility of coordination between state agencies in performing state management tasks (Articles 56, 57, 58 of the Law on Inspection).
On that basis, the Government Inspectorate has been and is coordinating with ministries, branches, and localities to strengthen exchange and information sharing to serve inspection work; and at the same time, gradually build an information system and database to serve state management of inspection.
Accepting voters' opinions, in the coming time, the Government Inspectorate will continue to research and improve the coordination mechanism in inspection activities in the direction of strengthening information and data sharing between state management agencies, especially in the fields of land, investment, budget and business registration; promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in inspection activities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection activities.
The goal is to gradually form a database system on inspection activities capable of connecting and sharing information with national databases and specialized databases in accordance with the law, allowing online information exploitation to serve inspection activities, contributing to shortening verification time, reducing the requirement to provide paper records and improving publicity and transparency in inspection activities.
The Government Inspectorate will continue to coordinate with relevant ministries and sectors in developing and perfecting coordination regulations, ensuring that the provision, exploitation and use of information to serve inspection activities are carried out promptly, in accordance with the law and in accordance with the requirements of digital transformation in the current period.
