Information from the People's Committee of Phu Loi Ward, Can Tho City from July 24, 2025, the Phu Loi Ward Public Administration Service Center officially increased by 60 minutes of work per session, to facilitate organizations and individuals to carry out administrative procedures outside of normal office hours.
Accordingly, the new working hours of the Center are specifically adjusted: in the morning from 7:00 to 12:00, in the afternoon from 13:00 to 18:00, from Monday to Friday every week. The adjustment will be piloted for 3 months, from July 24 to October 23, 2025 (or until further notice).
During the pilot period, cadres, civil servants and public employees at the Center are responsible for providing full and clear instructions on the content of the dossier; behaving civilly and politely; handling procedures quickly, in accordance with regulations and not causing inconvenience to people.
The leader of Phu Loi Ward People's Committee said that increasing service time is a practical solution for people to access public services during more flexible hours, thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness of handling administrative procedures and increasing trust in the grassroots government.
In parallel with adjusting working hours, the Center also deploys an online Sequential Number system via the Zalo application. According to Mr. Truong Xuan Anh Khoa, Deputy Director of the Phu Loi Ward Public Administration Service Center, the application of QR codes to get numbers online is an important step in the digital transformation process in the locality.

Mr. Khoa said that before, people had to go to the place to type numbers by mechanical machines, causing time and paper waste, but now just need to access Zalo Official Account (OA) of Phu Loi Ward People's Committee, people can proactively get numbers right at home, while monitoring the number of records waiting to be processed at each counter.
The system helps people estimate time, proactively arrange schedules and minimize waiting time. In particular, if the number is delayed or missed, people will still be flexibly supported by staff after handling other documents, ensuring their rights and improving the experience of using public services.
This application also helps improve transparency, limiting jostling, asking for or getting a household number. Each registration is associated with a personal Zalo account, with specific information and time, and cannot be forged. This is a clear, transparent and safe form of registration, said Mr. Khoa.
