At the ceremony, representatives of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry of Public Security announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security: Transferring Major General Nguyen Tien Trung, born in 1978, hometown of Ky Hoa commune, Ha Tinh province, Director of Lang Son Provincial Police, to hold the position of Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police from November 21, 2025; Appointing and transferring Lieutenant Colonel Cu Quoc Thang - Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police - to hold the position of Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Police; transferring Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Dung - Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Police - to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Professional Affairs (Ministry of Public Security); appointing and transferring Lieutenant Colonel Bui Duy Hung - Head of the Department of Investigation of Economic and Environmental Crimes (Deputy Director of Ninh Provincial Police - Deputy Director of the Department of Investigation of Drug Investigation (Deputy Director of Ninh Provincial Police).
At the ceremony, Mr. Vu Dai Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh Province - presented the Decision of the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee on appointing Major General Nguyen Tien Trung to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee sent congratulations to Major General Nguyen Tien Trung and the individuals who were transferred and appointed; and appreciated the contributions that comrades have made to the province in the recent past.
