At noon on August 13, at the Government Headquarters, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a meeting with relevant ministries, branches, agencies and representatives of CT Group on participating in the development of strategic technology products and a number of proposals and recommendations of the Group.
As one of the pioneering units in Vietnam to develop 9 high-tech industries, CT Group focuses on investing in theoretical research to research, development of design, commercial production and export.
In particular, the Group has developed a strategic theory to master semiconductor technology, deployed 3 factories, 2 customer service centers in Silicon Valley, California and Phoenix, Arizona (USA); established 2 seed training centers in NIC (Hoa Lac, Hanoi) and Thu Duc (HCMC).
The group is also one of the pioneers in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Vietnam, leading the innovation trend and shaping the future of the low altitude economy (LAE).
Notably, on August 12, CT Group signed an order to export 5,000 UAVs to South Korea in Seoul, witnessed by General Secretary To Lam and South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min Seok.
At the meeting, CT Group made strong, large-scale commitments on research, development, and application of strategic technologies (UAVs, building a near-residential economy; semiconductor industry, comprehensive national digital transformation, investment in high-tech infrastructure, biotechnology, etc.); and made a number of proposals and recommendations.
Speaking, the Prime Minister congratulated the Group for exporting a number of high-tech products and requested relevant ministries and branches to continue to support and supplement CT Group.

Commenting on CT's proposals, the Prime Minister said that the agencies have been continuing to amend, supplement, and perfect relevant laws, decrees, and circulars, and suggested CT continue to contribute opinions and proposals on institutions, mechanisms, and policies.
The Government leader said that the Politburo has established a Central Steering Committee on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation development headed by General Secretary To Lam; the Government has a Steering Committee for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation development and Project 06 headed by the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister will direct relevant agencies to continue to remove difficulties and obstacles in coordination between agencies.
The Prime Minister directed the Government Office, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Bank, relevant ministries, branches, agencies and localities to review, resolve and support CT Group in implementing the construction of the factory.
At the same time, access to a preferential credit package of VND500,000 billion for science, technology, innovation, digital transformation and strategic infrastructure; support brand building; place orders, encourage domestic production, contribute to ensuring economic security.
The head of the Government requested ministries, branches, agencies and localities to continue to accompany businesses in general, including CT Group, to resolve work according to functions, tasks and powers. If they exceed their authority, they will report to competent authorities for consideration and decision.
