Previously, on September 21, 2025, the Department of Drug and Crime Prevention, the Border Guard Command, the Ministry of National Defense and the Department of Drug Crime Investigation, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Border Guard Commands of the provinces and cities: Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Tinh and the Police of the provinces: Phu Tho, Dong Nai to successfully fight Project A825p.
The project has dismantled a nationwide drug trafficking and transportation ring from abroad into Vietnam in large quantities, arrested and detained 20 subjects, seized 777.7 kg of synthetic drugs and many related exhibits and documents, ensuring absolute safety.
On behalf of the Government, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh warmly congratulated, commended, and highly appreciated the special feats and achievements of the forces.
The achievements of the forces have demonstrated the proactive spirit, determination to attack and suppress crimes, courage, intelligence, and skill, closely and effectively coordinating between the Army and Police forces in the fight against drug crimes, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety, and protecting the peaceful and happy life of the people.
The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security to promptly take forms of commendation and propose worthy commendation for collectives and individuals directly involved in solving cases.
