Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the above content at the working session with the Standing Committee of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee on the afternoon of March 16, according to the Government Electronic Information Portal.

In his concluding remarks, the Prime Minister emphasized key tasks and solutions in the coming time.

In particular, the Prime Minister first of all requested Vinh Phuc province to focus on implementing, ensuring the progress of restructuring, streamlining the apparatus and arranging administrative boundaries according to the direction and guidance of the Central Government, not to affect other political tasks and work;

Further promote the implementation of Resolution 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation development, through specific plans, programs, projects and plans;

Develop programs and plans to ensure growth targets according to the Government's assigned targets, with high determination, great efforts, drastic actions, clearly assigning people, work, time, responsibility, products, maximizing different potentials, outstanding opportunities, and competitive advantages.

The head of the Government also requested Vinh Phuc province to actively and proactively cut administrative procedures (at least 30%), create conditions and favorable conditions for businesses, contribute to removing difficulties and obstacles, and promote institutional breakthroughs. Building a public administrative service center under a one-stop mechanism;

Continue to shift the appropriate economic structure, especially promoting the development of the service sector; renewing traditional growth drivers (investment, export and consumption) and promoting new growth drivers such as emerging fields and industries: Semiconductor technology, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, exploiting new development spaces such as space, underground space, developing cultural industries, entertainment industry...

Notably, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also emphasized the merger of provinces to create greater development space, create momentum, create position, and create better development forces for localities.

Vinh Phuc province also needs to promote the improvement of a healthy and favorable investment and business environment, avoiding discouragement for investors; attracting domestic and foreign investment, directly and indirectly; developing the private economy is the most important driving force for growth; building a one-stop mechanism to attract investment.

Also at the meeting, leaders of ministries and branches responded and the Prime Minister also gave opinions on Vinh Phuc's proposals and recommendations. In particular, agreeing with the policy of building a free trade zone, the Prime Minister directed the province to urgently develop a specific project to submit to competent authorities.

At the same time, it is recommended that the province review, synthesize and report to the Prime Minister on legal contents and policies that need to continue to be amended, supplemented and perfected, clearly stating 3 issues: Regulations that have been issued but are still stuck; policies that have been implemented but have been overcome by practice; issues that do not have regulations for adjustment.
