Within the framework of the working trip to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the Inter-level Boarding School for Primary and Secondary School in Yen Khuong Commune (Thanh Hoa Province), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directly visited and worked with Yen Khuong Border Guard Station on the night of November 8.
Also attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of central ministries and branches and Thanh Hoa province.
According to the representative of Yen Khuong Border Guard Station, the unit is assigned to manage and protect 7km of border, 3 international border markers bordering Laos. Determining "The border is a home, the border is a homeland, the ethnic groups are brothers", in recent years, the unit has completed all aspects of work, firmly protecting sovereignty and security of the border; regularly caring for and doing a good job of mobilizing the masses; constantly tightening the bond of solidarity between the army and the people, building a solid national border posture, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety and promoting socio-economic and cultural development in the area.
Speaking at the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent his condolences and best wishes to the officers and soldiers of Yen Khuong Border Guard Station; at the same time, he commended and highly appreciated the unit's spirit of effort, self-reliance and self-reliance in performing tasks and maintaining peace at the border.
The Prime Minister requested Yen Khuong Border Guard Station to continue to stick to the people, the villages, grasp the situation of the grassroots; share the hardships with the people; closely and deeply attach to the people in each specific work, with the spirit of "people are the root".

Four projects started simultaneously in Thanh Hoa include: Yen Khuong Primary and Secondary Boarding School (main activity point). Tam Lu Primary and Secondary Boarding School. Tam Thanh Primary and Secondary Boarding School. Meo Primary and Secondary Boarding School.
