On the afternoon of January 20, during the break of the 14th Party Congress, Politburo Member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and encouraged officials, reporters, and editors working at the Congress Press Center.
Visiting reporters about working and living conditions during the Congress, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested to prioritize and create the best conditions for the working activities of the press.
In which, providing full infrastructure for the press to operate, both in terms of transmission lines and operating conditions, ensuring that the press operates most smoothly, so that the press provides timely, complete, accurate, rich, and vivid information about the Congress.
In particular, the Prime Minister requested the press to focus on information about the main contents and new points of the Congress such as the integration of reports into one report; the report presented by the General Secretary at the opening session is very concise, focusing on the main points, new points, issues that need to be done immediately, showing action, practicality, closely following the situation; especially breakthroughs as General Secretary To Lam emphasized at the opening session of the Congress: Vision must be strategic, thinking must be breakthrough, actions must be drastic.
The Prime Minister requested that along with information about the 14th Party Congress, the press reflect the joyful and excited atmosphere of cadres, party members, and people from all walks of life regarding the important political event of the country and the nation; and at the same time be ready to effectively implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress immediately after the Congress is brilliantly successful.
Also on January 20, General Nguyen Trong Nghia - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Head of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Lai Xuan Mon visited and encouraged reporters and editors at the Press Center of the 14th Party Congress.
The 14th Congress Press Center is located right next to the Main Hall - the venue for the 14th Congress of the Party. The center is organized and operated scientifically and methodically, with modern facilities, technology, equipment conditions, high-speed internet connection, more than 150 laptops, desktop computers, printers, fax machines, 10 large TV screens, creating the best conditions for working and reporting on the Congress. This is also the venue for press conferences and a place for reporters to meet, exchange, and interview... content about the Congress.
At the Center, in the past 2 days, nearly 600 reporters and technicians from 113 domestic press agencies and nearly 100 reporters and press assistants from 43 foreign press agencies, overseas Vietnamese reporters, and reporters from political parties and party committees participated in reporting on the Congress.
