Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh has just signed Decision No. 2162/QD-TTg dated September 29, 2025 to reorganize the Religious Publishing House under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs, Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions into the Religious Publishing House under the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
The decision clearly states that the Religious Publishing House under the Government's Committee for Religious Affairs was reorganized under Decision No. 83/2001/QD-TTg dated May 30, 2001 of the Prime Minister to become the Religious Publishing House under the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
The Religious Publishing House is a public service unit, performing the function of publishing, printing and distributing publications serving religious, religious and ethnic work; having legal status, a seal and being allowed to open a separate account at the State Treasury and a bank according to the provisions of law.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions to issue a Decision specifying the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Religious Publishing House and approving the project of autonomy of the Religious Publishing House according to the roadmap prescribed by law.
