The General Secretary suggested that the group continue to strengthen cooperation with Vietnamese airlines to expand the supply and production chain of Airbus aircraft equipment in Vietnam; cooperate in human resource training, pay attention to promoting aircraft engine repair, open Airbus's center in Vietnam to focus on providing passenger transportation, cargo and maintenance services; and at the same time, propose creating conditions for Vietnamese airlines to directly negotiate and sign aircraft purchase contracts.
On the side of Airbus Group, Mr. Chris Drewer affirmed his commitment to continue to be an important partner of Vietnam, wishing to provide more aircraft to Vietnamese airlines, while expanding cooperation to fields such as helicopters, military aircraft, scientific and technological cooperation, and satellites.
Then, meeting with Ms. Helen Wilson - Senior Vice President of Rolls Royce Group Global, General Secretary To Lam suggested that the group continue to cooperate with Vietnam in researching and learning about sustainable aviation fuel, training high-quality human resources and transferring technology in the aviation and aerospace sector to Vietnamese partners; and initially promoting the establishment of Rolls Royce Engine Maintenance and Repair Center in Vietnam; at the same time, he said that it will create favorable conditions for businesses to invest and do business in Vietnam.
