On September 13, in Hanoi, the Supreme People's Court held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Industry's Traditional Day; General Secretary To Lam attended and gave a speech.

The ceremony was attended by Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries: Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac; Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc. Also attending were Politburo members: Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; General Luong Tam Quang - Minister of Public Security; Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai;

On the side of the Supreme People's Court, there were Party Central Committee Secretary, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Le Minh Tri; Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; members of the Supreme People's Court's Judicial Council...

At the ceremony, Mr. Le Minh Tri said that the country is entering a new stage of development, with many opportunities and challenges intertwined in the context of rapid and unpredictable developments in the region and the world, in that situation the Court sector needs to focus on implementing a number of important orientations.

In leadership, it is necessary to closely follow and effectively serve the country's political tasks in the new era, the era of national growth. Maintaining solidarity and determination to build a team of cadres, especially heads of Courts at all levels, must have strong political will, deep expertise, pure ethics, strict discipline, courage to protect the right, and resolutely fight against the wrong.

Implement well the settlement and trial of all types of cases, ensure that the litigation at the trial must be strict, convincing, and in accordance with legal regulations; improve the quality of judgments and decisions right from the first instance stage; immediately overcome the situation where judgments and decisions have been amended and canceled many times, declared unclear and difficult to enforce, and extend the time to resolve cases to consolidate and build the trust of the people and society in the Court sector.

Strengthen mediation and dialogue at the Court to quickly and effectively resolve disputes, minimize social conflicts and contribute to reducing work pressure of the Courts. Strive to achieve and exceed the work targets assigned by the National Assembly, strive for the work results next year to be higher than the previous year.

Strengthen the application of information technology, promote digital transformation; build electronic courts and management software, management of cases, virtual assistants; increase publicity and transparency of Court activities, create favorable conditions for people to access justice and participate in monitoring the Court's activities at the request of the Party and the State...

Chief Justice Le Minh Tri believes that in the coming time, People's Courts at all levels will promote the experiences and glorious traditions of the past 80 years, continue to strive to innovate, create, strive to excellently fulfill the important responsibilities assigned by the Party, State and people, and make even greater contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, worthy of being a trial agency, serving justice, and exercising the judicial rights of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
