In terms of politics and diplomacy, the two sides regularly exchanged delegations at all levels, closely coordinated and supported each other at multilateral forums, especially at the United Nations and within the framework of ASEAN and the EU.
Cooperation in the fields of economy, trade and investment between the two developed countries.
Cooperation between Vietnam and Finland in other areas such as defense, security, education and training, agriculture, environment, culture and education, people-to-people exchanges, tourism and local cooperation also developed well.
Within the framework of his official visit to the Republic of Finland, General Secretary To Lam is expected to hold talks with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, have meetings with the Finnish Prime Minister, First Vice President of the Finnish Parliament, President of the Communist Party of Finland and meet with some typical Finnish enterprises as well as have some other important foreign affairs activities.
