Attending the ceremony were Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries: Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung; Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee Phan Dinh Trac; Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Nguyen Trong Nghia. Also attending were Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association - affirmed: Launching the Electronic Information Page "Vietnam Communist Party - 14th Congress" is an event of special significance not only to the Party's propaganda work, but also demonstrates the determination to innovate and modernize communication methods. The information page was elaborately built with a spirit of urgency and seriousness.
Speaking at the ceremony, General Secretary To Lam stated that the Vietnam Communist Party Committee's Electronic Information Page - 14th Congress is a digital address, an official information infrastructure of the 14th National Congress of the Party, a quick, accurate, reliable, and friendly information address, ensuring "one source - one standard - one voice" in the entire process of preparing, organizing the Congress and implementing the Resolution after the 14th Congress.
The General Secretary requested that the Electronic Information Page must complete three core tasks: providing correct - sufficient - timely information; orienting public opinion with scientific arguments and accurate data; connecting - interacting to create social consensus at home and abroad.
The General Secretary emphasized that the Information Page of the Communist Party of Vietnam - 14th Congress must be a place to update the program, content, documents, and results of the Congress; a channel for issuing press reports, Q&A documents, graphic data, photos, and official videos. The three requirements are general: accurate, timely, and easy to understand.
To effectively operate the Information Page, General Secretary To Lam suggested that Nhan Dan Newspaper thoroughly grasp and implement six key requirements, considering them as "operating discipline" of the Information Page.
First of all, it is information discipline. All content closely follows the direction of the Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and relevant agencies according to their authority; absolutely no speculation; no leakage, no negligence.
Two is, accurate and timely. Establish a clear announcement schedule; synchronously release documents, graphics, videos; simultaneously provide to the press, digital platforms and foreign channels. The criteria are correct - enough - fast - compact - good.
Third, safety - security. Operate multi-layered security; supervise 24/7; have response scenarios to attacks, counterfeit, and appropriation; reserve servers, content, and personnel; do not "miss waves", do not be passive or surprised in any circumstances.
Fourth, we must coordinate smoothly. smooth connection between the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Central Office; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; press agencies, ministries, branches and localities; unify a focal point for speech; quickly respond to issues of public concern; share information resources and standardize terminology to avoid errors.
Fifth, focus on foreign affairs. Prepare information packages for international reporters; concise, standard explanatory documents; timely, civilized feedback, respect for international practices; create favorable conditions for friends around the world to accurately access the guidelines and policies of our Party and State.
Sixth, take the positive and push the negative. Proactively create good topics, beautiful stories, good numbers; spread good examples in Party building, socio-economic development, and ensuring national defense and security; at the same time, resolutely refute false arguments with scientific arguments, convincing evidence, calm and standard attitude.
Affirming that the launch of the website "Vietnam Communist Party - 14th Congress" is an important step to organize a Congress of Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development, the General Secretary believes that the information page will successfully complete its mission: being an official source of information, a sharp weapon on the ideological - cultural front, a strong bridge between the Congress and the people.
