The 3rd "Fatherland on the Wave" Award Ceremony in 2025 was chaired by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, in coordination with the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and related agencies.
Attending the ceremony were Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; General Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Nguyen Trong Nghia said that the 3rd National Art Photo Contest "Fatherland on the Waves" Award Ceremony was held in the context that the entire Party, people, and army are promoting the spirit of patriotism, national pride, and aspirations for national development, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, prepare to organize the 14th National Congress, elect the 16th National Assembly, and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.
The contest has been held 3 times, has created many impressions and has a wide influence, becoming one of the effective methods in information, propaganda work on seas, islands and international integration.

To continue to do a good job of propagating the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized the need to do a good job in some contents.
In particular, a deep and comprehensive awareness of the Party's viewpoints, guidelines and policies, the State's legal policies on seas and islands; continuing to innovate the content and methods of information and propaganda work on seas and islands, especially foreign information; focusing resources on digital transformation, improving the fighting spirit, education, and persuasion in information and propaganda work on seas and islands; constantly improving the quality of the staff working on information and propaganda work on seas and islands.
At the ceremony, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Nguyen Trong Nghia and General Trinh Van Quyet and leaders presented symbols, medals and certificates to the winning authors; at the same time, awarded Certificates of Merit from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee to 8 provinces and cities with outstanding achievements in coordinating the implementation of the Contest.
From the results of the 3rd "Fatherland on the Waves" Contest, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee continues to coordinate with relevant agencies to promote the compilation: bilingual books, electronic photo books, virtual reality exhibitions and organize photo exhibitions in provinces and cities.
Launched from March to July 2025, the National Art photography Competition "Fatherland on the Wave" received 15,770 photo works from 3,514 authors from 34 provinces and cities nationwide. Not only has the quantity and quality of this year's works also improved significantly.
Through elaborate judging rounds, the jury selected 150 outstanding works to introduce to the Exhibition, of which 22 best works were awarded.
In which, the two works that won the first prize of the contest belonged to two authors: Nguyen Viet Hoang Long (Quang Ninh), with the single photo work "Under the shadow of the Fatherland flag"; Nguyen Khac Hao (Hung Yen), with the photo series "Bustling rice fish season".
