The Government Office has just issued Document No. 8094/VPCP-KGVX dated November 5, 2024, conveying the opinion of Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long on submitting to the President to give gifts to people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on submitting to the President to give gifts to people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long has the following comments:
Authorize the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to complete the dossier to submit to the President on giving gifts to people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
According to the proposal of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the recipients and gift levels remain the same as in 2024, including two levels of 600,000 VND and 300,000 VND.
Gifts of VND 600,000 for people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, including: Revolutionary activists and relatives of martyrs receiving monthly support allowances; relatives of two or more martyrs receiving monthly support allowances.
In which, revolutionary activists are those who were revolutionary activists before January 1, 1945 and are receiving monthly preferential allowances; revolutionary activists from January 1, 1945 to the August 1945 uprising are receiving monthly preferential allowances; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers are receiving monthly preferential allowances.
In addition, there are Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor during the resistance war who are receiving monthly preferential allowances; war invalids, people enjoying policies like war invalids, war invalids of type B, sick soldiers with a body injury rate of 81% or more who are receiving monthly preferential allowances; resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals with a body injury rate of 81% or more who are receiving monthly preferential allowances; people who have contributed to the revolution and are receiving monthly nursing allowances.
Gift level of 300,000 VND for people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of Lunar New Year At Ty 2025, including: People with revolutionary contributions; representatives of martyrs' relatives; people who worship martyrs (in case the martyrs have no relatives).
The total budget for giving gifts to people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 is 506,758.5 million VND.
