Within the framework of the working trip to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit and work in China, on September 1, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Mr. Vuong Ho Ninh - Politburo Standing Member and Chairman of the National Political Committees of China.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh conveyed the greetings of General Secretary To Lam; Politburo member and President Luong Cuong; Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien to Mr. Vuong Ho Ninh and senior leaders of China.
President Vuong Ho Ninh warmly congratulated Vietnam on the 80th anniversary of the National Day; conveyed his condolences to General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien.
The Prime Minister also introduced some achievements in perfecting socialist theories and the path to socialism in Vietnam with 3 main pillars: building a socialist democracy, building a socialist rule-of-law state and building a socialist-oriented market economy; along with 6 key tasks on economy, foreign affairs, national defense security, culture, social justice, Party building; 12 main groups of tasks and solutions to realize the country's development goals in the new era and 3 strategic breakthroughs.
The Prime Minister emphasized that in that process, Vietnam has always paid attention to, monitored and wished to refer to new developments in theory and practice in China.
Agreeing with the opinions of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, President of the National Government of China Vuong Ho Ninh highly appreciated Vietnam's important achievements and theoretical creativity on socialism and the path to socialism, especially the combination of Marxism with Vietnam's practice; expressed his admiration for the recent great strides in Vietnam's reform, demonstrated by the rapid development of the economy and the significant improvement of people's lives.
Mr. Vuong Ho Ninh shared and introduced to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh some new creative theoretical achievements of the Communist Party of China in combining Marxism with China's excellent practic and cultural traditions, on the strategic layout of "four comprehensively" and "one in one"; emphasized that the two countries have profound similarities in the theoretical system of the path to socialism, hoping that the two sides will increase exchanges, share experiences, and contribute to the cause of building socialism in each country.
