On the afternoon of June 27, in Hanoi, Vietnam Exhibition Center Joint Stock Company - a member of Vingroup Corporation - handed over the site of the Vietnam Exhibition Center to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
At the ceremony, Central Party Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh assessed that this is a project to serve a very important event, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day.
The leaders of the Party, State, and Prime Minister are very interested in the investment project to build the Vietnam Exhibition Center. The Prime Minister also directly attended the groundbreaking ceremony and regularly paid attention to inspecting and urging the project to be organized smoothly.

"This is not only a work of technical value, space organization but also a cultural work of special importance, worthy of regional and world standards, symbolizing the spirit of innovation, development and aspiration to rise up" - Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh emphasized.
On behalf of the Government, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh praised and highly appreciated the efforts of Vingroup Corporation in the past time. The unit has made great efforts in implementing the project in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister, with the spirit of overcoming the sun and rain, not losing to storms, not working enough days, taking advantage of working at night, taking advantage of eating, sleeping urgently, working in three shifts, four teams, working through Tet, through holidays, holidays, standing shoulder to shoulder to overcome all difficulties, turning things from success to success, turning difficulties into easy, turning impossible into possible. Up to now, the project has achieved very significant progress.
The exhibition of socio-economic achievements with the theme "80 years of independence - freedom - happiness" is an activity with profound historical and humanistic significance. This is an opportunity for us to comprehensively review the country's 50-year development journey in the fields of economy, culture, society, science and technology, national defense and security, foreign affairs and international integration.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as the standing agency, to continue to preside over the completion of the exhibition organization project, at the same time develop a plan to organize implementation, clearly assign and coordinate exhibition preparation activities scientifically, methodically and effectively.

In particular, it is necessary to coordinate with Vingroup Corporation and private companies and enterprises to focus on the quality of display content, applying new technology, ensuring attractiveness, and spreading a wide message. Ministries, departments, branches, central agencies and 34 provinces and cities must strictly follow the instructions of the Prime Minister.
After today's site handover, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that a conference should be held to disseminate and hand over in detail the areas to each ministry, branch, central agency and localities.
There is not much remaining preparation time (only about 1 and a half months left) but the workload ahead is still very large, the Deputy Prime Minister requested agencies and units to continue to promote the highest sense of responsibility, the greatest determination to ensure that the exhibition of socio-economic achievements is not only a historical event but also a source of inspiration for the country's development aspirations and bright future.
