On August 19, in Tan Chau commune, Nghe An province, the 1st Tan Chau Commune Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, was solemnly held with the participation of many central and local delegates.
Attending and directing the Congress was Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission. Also attending was comrade Ho Le Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.
Tan Chau commune is a new administrative unit established under Resolution No. 1678 dated June 16, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee. The commune was formed on the basis of merging 4 previous communes of Dien Chau district including Dien Loc, Dien Loi, Dien Phu and Dien Tho.

After the merger, Tan Chau has a natural area of 64.60 km2, population of more than 33,000 people. This is one of the large-scale communes of Dien Chau district in particular and of Nghe An in general.
This Congress is an important political event, aiming to summarize the recent term, while determining the direction, goals, and development solutions for the coming period.
The Congress affirmed the determination to build Tan Chau into a comprehensive development commune, worthy of the potential, advantages and trust that the Party, State and people have placed on it.
