The Ministry of Home Affairs is seeking opinions on the draft Decree on Regulations on recruitment, use and management of civil servants. It is expected that this decree will replace Decree No. 138/2020/ND-CP of the Government (amended and supplemented in Decree No. 116/2024/ND-CP in 2024).
With the regulation on priority recruitment of civil servants, the Ministry of Home Affairs proposes to keep it as the current regulation.
Accordingly, the subjects and priority points in the entrance exam or admission include:
Heroes of the Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor, War Invalids, and those who enjoy policies like war invalids and war invalids of type B: Receive 7.5 points from the results of round 2;
Minorities, military officers, police officers, conscripts, people working in key positions who change sectors, students who have completed training as reserve officers, graduated from training as commanders of the Commune-level Military Command of the grassroots military sector are conferred the rank of reserve officers who have registered as reserve officers, soldiers, war invalids, sick soldiers, children of people enjoying policies such as war invalids, children of type B war invalids, children of children of resistance fighters infected with chemical substances, children of Heroes of the Armed Forces, children of Heroes of Labor: Receive 5 points for the results of round 2;
Those who have completed their military service, their service in the People's Public Security, and youth volunteer teams: Receive 2.5 points from the results of round 2.
Trade union cadres who have grown up from the grassroots, in the workers' movement according to the regulations of competent authorities: Receive 1.5 points from the results of round 2.
In case the candidate enters or is considered for admission in many priority areas specified in Clause 1 of this Article, he/she will only receive the highest priority point in the second round score.
