First of all, the Politburo has issued Conclusion 91/2024, which clearly states the task of continuing to improve and effectively implement the new general education program; implementing a unified general education program nationwide, each subject has one or more textbooks and socializing the compilation of textbooks...
Secondly, the Ministry of Education and Training has affirmed that educational activities with many textbooks and the policy of socializing textbooks is a breakthrough policy, changing the publishing of textbooks according to the exclusive mechanism.
At the same time, socialize textbooks, creating conditions for many individuals and organizations with the ability and conditions to participate in compiling and publishing textbooks.
Thereby, creating competition and motivation for book author groups and publishers to have good quality book sets.
The most basic thing is to unify a general education program, while textbooks are learning materials for that program.
Up to now, the socialization of textbook compilation has achieved remarkable results. Initial implementation may be confusing in some places, but up to now, access and use of many textbooks has stabilized.
Thus, the more textbooks are, the more resources are enriched, teachers have more resources for research and teaching, students have more books for reference, and accumulate knowledge.
Most teachers believe that the educational model we aim for is to expand the horizon of knowledge, not to frame students in a set of textbooks. Students will access many sets of books, will explore, compare, compare, and form a habit of scientific research.
There are also opinions that the Ministry of Education and Training compiles a set of textbooks for shared use, while socialized sets of books are still kept as a supplementary source of books, thereby ensuring socialization.
