Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics - emphasized this content in his speech at the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (TNCS) of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (Yuan Doan Anh) IV, term 2025-2030, on December 4.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam, the 2025 - 2030 term of the Academy Youth Union takes place in the context of profound changes in the world and the country.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution, with the explosive development of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Internet of Things (IoT) ... is fundamentally changing the way of governance, education and scientific research are conducted.
For the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam said that he is promoting the implementation of the Academy's Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045, with the goal of becoming a leading center for training and research on regional and international political theory; smart and modern Academy governance.
"In that context, the role of the Academy's youth does not stop at prominent movements. Comrades must position themselves as the pioneering force leading the digital transformation and innovation process at the Academy" - Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam emphasized.
Suggesting many issues, Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam mentioned the requirement for young people of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to pioneer in digital transformation and applying artificial intelligence (AI) to research and teaching political theory.
According to him, young people must be the first to eliminate the mindset of being afraid of change and technology.
Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam also believes that the youth of the Academy must become an elite force to protect the Party's ideological foundation in the digital space. "The youth of the Academy must be the main force, occupying this site" - he said.
The Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics also requested that young people of the Academy strive to become a team of scientific staff, future management leaders "both rosy and professional", meeting international standards.
At the same time, he also built a model Party School culture among young people. Building a strong Youth Union organization is truly a bridge between the Party Committee and the youth, a place to nurture future leaders.
Previously, right after the first session of the Congress, the Executive Committee of the Academy Youth Union for the 4th term of 2025-2030 held a meeting of the Executive Committee, electing 5 personnel to the Standing Committee of the Academy Youth Union; in which, comrades Luong Quang Huy, Phan Hoang Quynh, Dao Thi Loan held the position of Deputy Secretary.
At the Conference, delegates also elected the Inspection Committee of the Youth Union of the Academy, term IV, 2025-2030, consisting of 5 comrades, chaired by Phan Hoang Quynh (academic of Journalism and Communication) as Chairman of the Inspection Committee.
