This is the 36th member unit of BIC.
Attending the opening ceremony, on behalf of the local government, there were Ms. Luong Thi Hoa - Secretary of Nhu Xuan district (Thanh Hoa province), Mr. Phung Dinh Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Thanh Hoa province, Mr. Truong Trong Tuan - Deputy Director of the Department of Finance of Thanh Hoa province.
On the side of the State Bank, there was Mr. Bui Ngoc Thanh - Deputy Director of the State Bank - Thanh Hoa Province Branch.
On the side of BIDV Bank, there were Mr. Tran Xuan Hoang - Member of BIDV Board of Directors, Chairman of BIC Board of Directors, along with key leaders of BIDV Branches, customers and partners of BIC in the area.
On BIC's side, there were Mr. Tran Hoai An - Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of BIC, Executive Board, Directors of BIC's Boards and member units, and all staff of BIC Thanh Hoa Branch.
Thanh Hoa has a favorable geographical location connecting the Red River Delta, the Northwest with the North Central region, playing an important role as a bridge between key economic regions. Last year, the scale of GRDP of Thanh Hoa rose to the eighth position in the country and the highest among the provinces in the North Central region.
The presence of BIC Thanh Hoa will help to diversify products and services, improve the quality of customer care activities, and bring the BIC insurance brand closer to customers in Thanh Hoa province.
In particular, as an indispensable part of BIDV's business ecosystem, the establishment of BIC Thanh Hoa Branch will help strengthen close coordination between BIC and BIDV branches in the area, thereby providing diverse financial products to best meet customers' needs.
Congratulating the opening of the new branch, Mr. Tran Xuan Hoang - Chairman of BIC Board of Directors, expected that BIC Thanh Hoa will become one of BIC's member units operating effectively and dynamically, thereby contributing to increasing customer trust in the BIC brand.
Mr. Tran Xuan Hoang wishes BIC Thanh Hoa to promote its internal resources, flexibly grasp market opportunities, overcome all challenges to positively contribute to the overall performance of the BIC system.
In particular, on the occasion of the opening of BIC Thanh Hoa Branch, BIC donated funds to build a school in Lang Mai village, Binh Luong commune, Nhu Xuan district with a total value of 400 million VND, contributing to helping students at the school have a spacious, clean classroom, promptly solving the local educational infrastructure needs.
Also at the ceremony, BIC Thanh Hoa signed a fire and explosion insurance contract with Tan An Iron Alloy Joint Stock Company and a construction all-risk insurance contract with Vincent Land Group Joint Stock Company. The total insurance value of both contracts is up to nearly 1,000 billion VND.
In the last 2 months of the year, BIC will continue to adhere to the strategy of expanding its network of operations, diversifying products, and improving service quality to better serve and meet the increasingly diverse needs of customers.
