According to preliminary statistics, more than 5,200 households in Quang Ngai are suffering from deep flooding after prolonged heavy rains. Many central areas and riverside areas were flooded into houses, causing difficulties in daily life and travel, threatening the safety of life and property. Nearly 1,000 households with more than 3,600 people in the communes of Tay Tra, Son Tay, Ba Vinh, Ba Dong, Ngoc Linh, Son Ha... have had to evacuate to safety.
The flood caused 1 house to collapse completely, 27 houses were severely damaged. Many areas of crops and farming, irrigation works, canals, dams, domestic water pipes, bridges and traffic routes were also damaged. Landslides and flash floods occurred in the communes of Ngoc Linh, Tay Tra, Truong Giang, ... isolating hundreds of households.

Promoting the tradition of "Mutual love, healthy leaves cover torn leaves" and the spirit of "Full affection" - a beauty in Petrovietnam/BSR culture and with a sense of community responsibility, the General Director and the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) held a launching ceremony, calling on all officers, employees and workers to join hands to support and help Quang Ngai people to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters, stabilize their lives and production at the following locations: Company Headquarters, Building A1 Building - Factory Administrative Area, Dung Quat Refinery Control Center and Factory Working Building; BSR Branch in Hanoi.

At the launching ceremony, Mr. Bui Ngoc Duong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of BSR - expressed his sympathy and deeply shared the heavy losses that the people of Quang Ngai province are suffering due to floods. He called on all BSR officers, employees, and employees, and organizations in the company to promote the spirit of mutual love and affection for the people, joining hands to contribute and support both materially and spiritually to help people in flooded areas overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Bui Ngoc Duong emphasized that every shared heart, no matter how small, is a practical act demonstrating the social responsibility and profound human values of BSR employees - people who are not only dedicated to work but also always ready to accompany and share with the community in times of hardship and difficulties.


Immediately after launching, BSR will organize working groups to directly visit, give gifts and support people in severely damaged areas, ensuring that all contributions from staff, workers and philanthropists are given to the right subjects in a timely manner, fully demonstrating the spirit of "Full affection" of BSR employees.
Previously, in early August 2025, BSR organized a fundraising event to support people in the Northern and North Central provinces who suffered heavy losses due to floods, with the desire to share difficulties, help people overcome the disaster and stabilize their lives soon. In particular, in mid-October 2025, BSR employees donated 1.2 billion VND from their salaries to support Thai Nguyen province - a locality that suffered a lot of damage during the recent natural disaster.
