In the first 6 months of 2025, the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) has synchronously and drastically implemented many solutions to propagate, inspect, and guide safe use of electricity in facilities and households.
According to statistics from authorities, one of the main causes of fires and explosions causing great damage to people and property is due to limited compliance with regulations on fire prevention and fighting safety, safety in electricity use, as well as unsafe use of electrical systems and equipment by people, owners of production and business establishments...
Recognizing this, EVNCPC always identifies the work of propagating electrical safety and fire prevention for electricity customers, especially in production, business and family activities, as the top priority task; the goal is to prevent power grid incidents and minimize electrical accidents among people.
Specifically, since the beginning of 2025, EVNCPC has issued specific plans and strongly directed member power companies. EVNCPC requires member units to proactively coordinate closely with local authorities, police agencies, especially the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force and have conducted 12,002 inspections and direct propaganda at facilities and households, a significant increase compared to the same period last year.
Not stopping at inspection work, the units have focused on widespread propaganda to each group of electricity users. Forms of communication are deployed flexibly, multi-channel and in accordance with local conditions.
In the first 6 months of 2025, 81,380 leaflets and 3,992 notebooks and handbooks on safe electricity use have been widely distributed to households and production and business establishments.
1,261,819 visits to information and propaganda via digital platforms such as: EVNCPC website, Facebook fanpage, Customer Care App, information on newspapers and television; 85 billboards, banners, posters are hung on roads and residential areas to create visual effects; 108 meetings and propaganda conferences are organized with the participation of representatives of local authorities, police, residential groups and electricity industry staff.
In particular, since September 2024, EVNCPC has integrated the "electrical Safety" section on the Customer Care App and website. The content here is designed to be easy to understand, vivid and updated regularly, helping people easily access useful knowledge with just a few steps on the phone.
