In the first 6 months of 2026, Mining and Installation Company - TKV achieved 8,334m of excavation tunnels serving coal production; revenue reached over 614.7 billion VND and equal to 50.2% of the annual plan.

6-month production value equals 55% of the annual plan

Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (TKV) Phan Xuan Thuy has just chaired a working session with Mine Construction Company - TKV on the production and business situation in the first 6 months of the year, tasks for the last 6 months of the year and basic construction tunneling plan, investment orientation for the period 2026-2030.

According to the report of Company Director Do Manh Cuong, implementing the production and business plan (SXKD) for 2026 in the context of many opportunities and challenges, the Company focuses on closely following the plan and production reality, directing and operating with high determination in all fields; strengthening mechanization, selling CGH for kiln digging; focusing on ensuring safety in production.

Currently, the Company is maintaining excavation (cut) of an average of 37 tunnels, constructing for 9 underground coal production units of TKV (including Mao Khe Coal, Uong Bi, Nam Mau, Ha Lam, Duong Huy, Quang Hanh, Ha Long, Mong Duong, Khe Cham). In the first 6 months of the year, the meter of tunnel excavated reached 8,334m, equal to 41.6% of the annual plan and equal to 93% compared to the same period; revenue reached over VND 614.7 billion, equal to 50.2% of the annual plan; production value reached over VND 674 billion, equal to 55% of the annual plan; average salary reached over 20.6 million VND/person/month.

Plan for the last 6 months of the year: The mine area is 11,094m, expected to reach 19,428m for the whole year; revenue is 725.2 billion VND, reaching 1,340 billion VND for the whole year, equal to 109% of the annual plan; production value reaches over 665.7 billion VND, reaching 1,340 billion VND for the whole year, equal to 109% of the annual plan; average salary reaches over 21.76 million VND/person/month, equal to 100% of the annual plan; investment work is 68.330 billion VND, expected to be over 80.7 billion VND for the whole year.

Notably, every year the Company continues to invest in supplementing equipment according to existing technology lines, and at the same time research and invest in types of equipment and CGH mining technology lines suitable for production conditions, cable car winches for transporting people; AI camera monitoring system.

The Company also proposed to TKV to orient underground coal production units to create conditions for the Company to implement basic construction tunnels, prepare for production in rock with appropriate cross-sections to maximize the use of underground excavation CGH sales lines that have been invested in and install cable car winches to improve travel conditions for workers; adjust and issue unit prices for machine shifts and labor unit prices suitable to the current time.

Decisively implement and complete 100% of the annual plan

Recognizing the above results, Deputy General Director of TKV Group Phan Xuan Thuy acknowledged the efforts of the Company in difficult production conditions. At the same time, he directed that the Company continue to closely coordinate with A-side units to remove difficulties and obstacles; The Company's Party Committee has a Resolution directing, focusing on solutions, drastically implementing to complete 100% of the annual plan, ensuring safety in production.

Review the assignment of tasks to the Board of Directors and departments according to the "6 clear" motto; organize production reasonably, ensuring productivity of each team and workshop; review and supplement investment plans to improve production capacity, improve travel and working conditions for workers. Have solutions to promote recruitment, re-recruitment, retain workers, build a team of technical staff, managers, and skilled workers to ensure human resources to meet production needs.

In the long term, the Company develops a long-term plan to 2030, with a vision to 2035; a technical plan, 5-year investment as a basis for implementation in the coming time; working with units to develop long-term tunneling plans, focusing on large cross-section tunnels, and mining development investment projects. Continue to implement restructuring, increase technology labor; invest in technology innovation, equipment, mechanization of drilling and excavation fields, and promote digital transformation.

Deputy General Director of the Group Phan Xuan Thuy assigned the KCM Board to preside over and coordinate with the Group's professional boards to urge, direct, and resolve difficulties and obstacles so that the Company can stabilize and develop production, complete the plan and tasks for 2026 and the following years, affirming TKV's key mining unit.
