Beauty and timeless emotions
As its name suggests, the music night brings the audience a musical journey from the classical to romantic periods, introducing typical works by three great composers: Gioachino Rossini, Franz Krommer, and Felix Mendelssohn.
The music night was conducted by conductor Yuri Tkachenko - a Russian honorary artist (2002), conductor and artistic director of the Orenburg State Symphony orchestra (Orenburg, Russia). The program has the participation of Clarinet artist Hoang Ngoc Anh Quan. He studied in the Netherlands and made many contributions to the country's art scene in the role of education and performance. People's Artist Bui Cong Duy participated as an art director, contributing to orienting and improving the professional quality of the music night.
When the first notes of the overture from the Opera play "The Sculptor of Seville" took off, the audience gradually immersed themselves in a sophisticated, enchanted space so that emotions could open the door to enter a colorful world of classical music.
Continuing the program, talented artist Hoang Ngoc Anh Quan brought a Concerto for the clarinet of the reg reg rege Mi giang ca, Op. 36 by Franz Krommer.
Closing the concert was the Symphony No. 4 "Italy" by Felix Mendelssohn. This work was composed after Mendelssohn's trip to Italy and recorded his deep impressions of this beautiful country.
Not only bringing famous concerts in the world's music treasury, the program is also an ambitious art project, marking the meaningful artistic cooperation of artist Bui Cong Duy and international guest artists. The performance lasted 90 minutes, but the endless applause caused the artists to linger on stage to express gratitude to the audience.
The endless applause is a testament to the appeal of the Hanoi Symphony orchestra in the flow of academic music. With the predecessor being the Hanoi Symphony orchestra, the Hanoi Symphony orchestra is a joint effort of professors, lecturers, soloists and excellent students of the Academy of Music.
The concert " masterpieces of Classicism and Lang Sonics" is the first program to open the 2025 performance season of the Hanoi Symphony orchestra. The program opens up expectations for a stronger development journey, where the orchestra constantly improves the quality of art, expands international cooperation and brings music closer to the public.
Sharing his feelings after the concert, an audience member said: I am very impressed by the talents of the artists. The brilliant, passionate sounds filling the entire audience of Ho Guom Theater brought me moments of complete emotional sublimation".
