Domestic silver prices today simultaneously decreased. In Hanoi, many people came to stores but could not buy, and queuing and taking silver purchase tickets appeared.

Silver buying demand is still high

At a silver business store on Tran Nhan Tong street (Hanoi), Mr. Ngo Van Tung (Hai Ba Trung ward, Hanoi) said that he needs to buy silver as a savings asset, but today he came to the store but could not buy it.

Recently, buying silver has been quite difficult. Many people have to come early when the store has not opened or accept to leave from the night before to queue.

Last week I still ordered 10 taels of silver, paid 100% of the bill and the store scheduled to pick up the goods on June 12, 2026. Today I decided to buy more, but they announced they were out of stock, so I had to go home" - Mr. Tung said.

Mr. Tung added that store staff informed that purchases are currently limited due to scarce supply, but customers who want to sell silver can still trade normally.

Similarly, Ms. Chu Pham Thanh Loan (Phuc Thinh commune, Hanoi) also had to leave after the store announced the temporary suspension of silver sales.

This morning, they sold a maximum of 3kg of silver for each person and promised to return the goods in mid-June 2026. But when I arrived, they had temporarily stopped selling. The store currently only accepts transactions with customers who need to sell silver or return goods to people who have purchase invoices and appointments from before. They announced that they will reopen sales next Monday, so I had to go home" - Ms. Loan said.

Household queuing services boom

Recorded further at a silver shop on Cau Giay street (Hanoi), besides people who accept to queue for several hours to wait for transactions, right near the shop, a person appeared to queue and take a silver purchase voucher for them.

Sharing with PV, this person said that he will post articles on social network groups so that people who need to buy silver can come and contact him.

Customers who hire me to queue will pay 600,000 VND for each purchase voucher. At the same time, buyers need to provide a citizen identification card to record information on the back of the voucher. Customers deposit 250,000 VND for me, when they receive the voucher, pay the remaining amount and enter the store to transact" - this person informed.

The price of 2025 Ancarat 999 silver ingots (1kg) at Ancarat Gem Company is listed at 72.314 - 74.514 million VND/kg (buying - selling).

The price of Kim Phuc Loc 999 silver bars (1 tael) of Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Company Limited (Sacombank-SBJ) is listed at the threshold of 3.102 - 3.210 million VND/tael (buying - selling).

At the same time, the price of 999 silver bars (1 tael) at Phu Quy Jewelry Group was listed at the threshold of 2.719 - 2.803 million VND/tael (buying - selling).
