On October 25, the domestic price of plain round gold rings and gold bars increased. Recorded at many gold shops in Hanoi, the number of customers coming to trade is still quite large. However, most stores have announced that they are out of SJC gold bars and plain round gold rings, making it difficult for buyers to find goods.

At a gold shop on Tran Nhan Tong street, Mr. Ta Van Hung (Hai Ba Trung ward, Hanoi) - a resident who wants to buy gold rings - shared:

"Last month, I had to wait a long time to buy, but I still bought 3 taels of gold. Today, I came back and saw that the number of people coming to buy was much larger, but the store announced that it was out of stock so it was not sold."

Mr. Hung said that many customers are still waiting patiently, so he also decided to stay to see if he can buy or not.

Similarly, Ms. Pham Thai Lien (Cua Nam ward, Hanoi) also patiently stayed, even though the store announced that it was temporarily out of stock.

"At this time, gold prices fluctuate continuously, so I want to take advantage of buying. Buying for savings is also more secure to keep cash at home. So I still try to wait and see if I can buy it or not" - Ms. Lien said.

Gold price update

As of 11:00 on October 25, the price of SJC gold bars was listed by DOJI Group at 147.5 - 149.2 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 1 million VND/tael for buying and an increase of 700,000 VND/tael for selling compared to early this morning.

The price of SJC gold bars was listed by Bao Tin Minh Chau at 148.2 - 149.2 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 400,000 VND/tael in both directions compared to early this morning.

At the same time, DOJI Group listed the price of gold rings at 146.5 - 149.1 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 1 million VND/tael for buying and an increase of 700,000 VND/tael for selling compared to early this morning.

Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the price of gold rings at 150 - 153 million VND/tael (buy - sell), unchanged in both directions compared to early this morning.

At 11:15 (Vietnam time), the world gold price was listed around 4,111.125 USD/ounce.
