SJC gold bars increase by more than 40 million VND/tael

For SJC gold bars, the increase was clearly recorded in both buying and selling directions.

At DOJI, the buying price on December 27 reached 157.7 million VND/tael, an increase of 41.2 million VND compared to 116.5 million VND/tael at the end of May. The selling price increased by 40.7 million VND/tael, from 119 to 159.7 million VND/tael.

If buying gold from May 27 and selling it at the present time, buyers will make a profit of about 38.7 million VND/tael.

At Bao Tin Minh Chau, the increase and profit are similar to DOJI. The buying price increased by 41.2 million VND/tael, the selling price increased by 40.7 million VND/tael, bringing a profit of about 38.7 million VND/tael after 7 months.

In Phu Quy alone, the buying price increased from 116 to 156.7 million VND/tael, equivalent to an increase of 40.7 million VND/tael. The selling price increased by 40.7 million VND/tael, from 119 to 159.7 million VND/tael. The profit of buyers reached about 37.7 million VND/tael, slightly lower because the current buying price is lower than some other brands.

9999 round gold ring is more profitable than gold bars

Not inferior to gold bars, 9999 round gold rings also recorded very strong increases, even higher profit margins in some brands.

At DOJI, the buying price increased from 112 to 154 million VND/tael, equivalent to an increase of 42 million VND. The selling price increased more sharply, increasing by 42.5 million VND/tael, from 114.5 to 157 million VND/tael. DOJI gold ring buyers from the end of May may make a profit of about 39.5 million VND/tael.

With Bao Tin Minh Chau, the buying price increased by 42.2 million VND/tael, from 114.5 to 156.7 million VND/tael. The selling price increased correspondingly by 42.2 million VND/tael, from 117.5 to 159.7 million VND/tael. The profit reached about 39.2 million VND/tael.

The most notable is Phu Quy, when the buying price of gold rings increased by 43.5 million VND/tael, from 112 to 155.5 million VND/tael. The selling price also increased by 43.5 million VND/tael, from 115 to 158.5 million VND/tael. Thanks to that, gold ring buyers in Phu Quy can earn a profit of about 40.5 million VND/tael, the highest in the survey group.

World gold fluctuates sharply, risks still present

Along with the domestic market, world gold prices also fluctuated strongly, from 3,336.2 USD/ounce at the end of May to 4,533 USD/ounce on December 27. However, in the short term, world gold prices may experience downward adjustments, creating certain pressure on the domestic market.

People should not chase after the psychology of fear of missing opportunities (FOMO), rushing to buy gold at high prices, especially in the context that the buying-selling price difference is still very large, up to 3 million VND/tael. If the gold price reverses and decreases sharply, investors may quickly fall into a state of heavy losses, especially for those "at the peak" in the hot market period.
