Bac A Bank interest rates increase to the top of the market

Bac A Bank's mobilization interest rate is adjusted to increase by 0.2%/year for terms from 1-11 months; increase by 0.1%/year for terms from 12-36 months.

After adjustment, deposits under 1 billion VND, receiving interest at the end of the term, interest rates for 1-2 month terms increased to 3.9%/year; 3-month terms increased to 4.2%/year; 4- and 5-month terms increased to 4.3% and 4.4%/year, respectively.

The term from 6-8 months increased to 5.35%/year; the term from 9-11 months increased to 5.45%/year; the term of 12 months increased to 5.7%/year; the term from 13-15 months was 5.8%/year; the term from 18-36 months increased to 6%/year.

For the deposit interest rate table applied to deposit accounts of VND 1 billion or more, the interest rate is adjusted to increase by 0.2%/year for deposit terms from 1-4 months and from 6-11 months, and at the same time increase by 0.1%/year for 5-month and 12-36 month deposits.

After adjustment, the 1-2 month term increased to 4.1%/year; the 3-month term increased to 4.4%/year; the 4-month term increased to 4.5%/year; the 5-month term was 4.6%/year; the 6-8 month term increased to 5.55%/year; the 9-11 month term was 5.65%/year.

12-month term increased to 5.9%/year; 13-15 term increased to 6%/year; 18-36 month terms increased to 6.2%/year, this is also the highest interest rate on the market today.

Bac A Bank is the second bank to increase deposit interest rates since the beginning of May. On the contrary, 2 banks have reduced deposit interest rates, MB and Eximbank.

Highest special interest rate 6.5-9.65%

Currently, 12-month deposit interest rates at banks range from 69.65%/year. ABBank leads with 9.65%/year for deposits from VND1,500 billion, followed by PVcomBank 9%/year and HDBank 7.7%/year. Some banks such as Cake by VPBank, BVBank, VietABank are applying interest rates from 6%/year for 1218 month terms without requiring a large balance.

The highest interest rate is up to 7.5-9.65%, but to enjoy this interest rate, customers must meet special conditions.

ABBank leads in special interest rates, at 9.65%/year for newly opened/repetited customers with savings deposits of VND1,500 billion or more, term of 13 months.

PVcomBank also applies a special interest rate of 9%/year for a term of 12-13 months when depositing money at the counter. The applicable condition is that customers must maintain a minimum balance of VND 2,000 billion.

HDBank applies an interest rate of 8.1%/year for a 13-month term and 7.7%/year for a 12-month term, with the condition of maintaining a minimum balance of VND500 billion.

Vikki Bank applies the interest rate of 7.5%/year for term deposits of 13 months or more, with a minimum amount of VND 999 billion; Bac A Bank is listing the highest interest rate of 6.2% with a term of 18-36 months for deposits of over 1 billion; IVB applies 6.15% interest rates for 36 -month term, conditions applicable to deposits of VND 1,500 billion or more.

ACB applies an interest rate of 6%/year for a 13-month term with interest paid at the end of the term when customers have a deposit balance of VND200 billion or more.

At LPBank, for deposits of VND300 billion or more, the mobilization interest rate applied to customers receiving interest at the end of the term is 6.5%/year, receiving monthly interest of 6.3%/year and receiving interest at the beginning of the term is 6.07%/year.

Banks with interest rates from 6%

Currently, interest rates above 6%/year are being listed by some banks for long-term deposits, without a minimum deposit requirement.

Cake by VPBank applies an interest rate of 6%/year for 12-18 month and 24-36 month terms; HDBank applies an interest rate of 6% for 18-month terms; BVBank also pays 6.1%/year for 60-month terms and 6.0%/year for 48-month terms. VietABank maintains the only 6.0%/year for the 36-month term; Bac A Bank applies an interest rate of 6% for the 18-36 month term.
