8 things inspectors are not allowed to do from October 15, 2026

Clause 3, Article 11, Circular 06/2026/TT-TTCP stipulates the code of conduct in the inspection sector (effective from October 15, 2026), stipulating that in the process of performing inspection tasks, cadres, civil servants, and public employees are not allowed to perform the following acts:

a) Reporting, advising, and proposing conclusions that are false, incomplete, and not consistent with the inspection results; covering up for inspection subjects, organizations, and individuals with illegal acts; using draft inspection conclusions to threaten inspection subjects;

b) Illegally disclosing information, documents, evidence, verification results or contents of draft inspection conclusions;

c) Illegally interfering in the normal operation of agencies, organizations, and individuals who are subjects of inspection or obstructing the legitimate activities of subjects of inspection outside the necessary scope to perform tasks;

d) Directing, requesting, forcing changes to inspection and verification results; taking advantage of assignment, evaluation or proposed handling for personal gain; performing work beyond assigned tasks and powers;

e) Obstructing and causing difficulties for the supervision, direction, and administration of the Inspection Team's activities; knowing but not reporting, reflecting, and handling corruption and negativity acts of the Head of the Inspection Team, members of the Inspection Team;

e) Intentionally contacting inspection subjects and agencies, organizations, and units related to inspection content when not assigned tasks; requesting to provide information and documents outside the scope and content of inspection or not related to the content of inspection;

g) Losing, damaging, destroying or falsifying records, documents, and evidence collected during the inspection process; using records and documents related to the inspection against regulations;

h) Suggesting, receiving money, gifts, property; organizing, participating in giao lưu, eating and drinking with inspection subjects for personal gain; using the vehicles and property of inspection subjects for private purposes.

Thus, from October 15, 2026, officials, civil servants, and public employees of the inspection sector are not allowed to do the above-mentioned tasks.
