Bonus level for soldiers achieving the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level from July 2025

The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Clause 2, Article 24 of the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2022 stipulates: The title of "Advanced Soldier" is awarded to soldiers, workers, civil servants, and defense officials of the People's Army; standing militia, mobile militia; officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, and workers working in agencies and units under the People's Public Security who meet the standards specified in Clause 1 of this Article.

Article 23 of the 2022 Law on Emulation and Commendation stipulates the title of " bagament Emulation Fighter" to be awarded to individuals who meet the following standards:

1. Complete the title of "Advanced Worker" or "Advanced Soldier" standard;

2. Excellently completing tasks or having initiatives recognized by the grassroots or having scientific topics, scientific projects, scientific and technological works that have been accepted or advised, created in combat and combat service recognized by the unit.

Clause 1, Article 50 of Decree 152/2025/ND-CP (effective from July 1, 2025) stipulates the bonus level for emulation titles for individuals as follows:

a) The title of "National Emulation Fighter" is awarded a Certificate, frame, Badge, Badge container and is rewarded 4.5 times the basic salary;

b) The title of emulation fighter of ministries, departments, branches, and provinces is awarded with a Certificate, frame, Badge, and a container of the Badge and is awarded 3.0 times the basic salary;

c) The title of "Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level" is awarded a Certificate, a framework and is rewarded 1.0 times the basic salary;

d) The title of "Advanced Worker" and "Advanced Soldier" is awarded 0.3 times the basic salary.

According to Decree 73/2024/ND-CP, the current basic salary is 2,340,000 VND/month.

Thus, from July 1, 2025, soldiers who achieve the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level will be rewarded with VND 2,340,000 according to the above regulations.
