Clause 2, Article 5 of the Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level stipulates coordination and support in performing tasks of forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level as follows:

a) Coordinate with the village chief, head of the residential group, head of the Front working committee in the village and residential group to perform the task of protecting security and order and building a movement for the whole people to protect national security;

b) Support the militia and other forces at the grassroots level to perform their tasks as prescribed by law;

c) Coordinate with grassroots self-governing mass organizations, grassroots mediators, security forces of agencies, organizations, and enterprises located in the area to participate in protecting security and order, and resolve security and order incidents at the grassroots level according to the provisions of law.

Thus, the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level coordinates with the head of the residential group to perform the task of protecting security and order and building a movement for the entire people to protect national security.
