Article 3, Circular 56/2025/TT-BQP of the Ministry of National Defense stipulating the leave regime for officers, professional soldiers, workers and defense officials stipulates the following leave regimes:
1. Military, workers and national defense officials are entitled to the following leave:
a) Daily breaks outside of working hours;
b) Daily leave;
c) Annual leave;
d) Special leave;
d) Holidays and Tet holidays;
e) Nursing leave;
g) Pre-retirement leave.
2. In addition to the leave regime prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article, soldiers, workers and national defense officials are entitled to sick leave, maternity leave, occupational accidents and diseases according to the provisions of law on social insurance and occupational safety and hygiene.
3. When implementing the leave regimes prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article, soldiers, workers and national defense officials are allowed to leave the camp; receive salaries and allowances (if any) according to current regulations.
4. For soldiers, workers and national defense officials who are subject to the leave regime prescribed in Point c, Point d, Clause 1 of this Article, travel time is not included in the number of days off.
5. In case the requirements for duties do not require annual leave for soldiers, workers and defense officials, the payment for the days of no leave shall be implemented according to the provisions of Clause 7, Article 1 of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army 2024 and Clause 1, Article 38 of the Law on Professional Soldiers, Workers and Defense Officials in 2015.
6. The working time prescribed in this Circular is calculated by the total time that soldiers, workers and national defense officials have participated in compulsory social insurance (excluding the time they have received one-time social insurance).
Thus, officers, professional soldiers, workers and defense officials are entitled to leave according to the above regulations.
