Regulations on collection and management of tuition fees

Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:

Article 7, Circular 29/2024/TT-BGDDT of the Ministry of Education and Training regulating extra teaching and learning (effective from February 14, 2025) stipulates the collection and management of extra learning fees as follows:

1. Funding for organizing extra teaching and learning in schools uses the State budget and other legal funding sources according to the provisions of law.

2. The level of tuition for extra-curricular classes is agreed upon between the student's parents, the student and the tutoring facility.

3. The collection, management and use of tuition fees shall comply with the provisions of the law on finance, budget, assets, accounting, taxes and other relevant regulations.

Thus, the collection and management of extra teaching and learning fees are regulated as above.
