Regulations on the selection of female citizens to perform their duty to join the People's Public Security

Article 3 of Circular No. 101/2025/TT-BCA regulating the selection and implementation of regimes and policies for citizens performing their duties to join the People's Public Security (effective from November 3, 2025) stipulates the subjects and standards for military recruitment as follows:

In addition to the regulations on subjects, the selection standards as prescribed in Articles 4 and 5 of Decree No. 70/2019/ND-CP stipulate the performance of public security service, citizens selected to perform public security service must ensure the following age, political standards and health standards:

1. Age:

a) Citizens from 18 years old to 25 years old;

b) For citizens who have been trained at college or university level and have been temporarily deferred from military service according to the provisions of the 2015 Law on Military Service, the selection period will be until the age of 27.

2. Political standards:

Citizens themselves and their biological father and mother; father, mother-in-law or husband; the person directly raising the citizen, the wife or husband; the wife or husband; the biological brothers and sisters of citizens who meet political standards to be recruited to the People's Public Security according to the regulations of the Minister of Public Security.

3. Health standards:

Health standards for recruiting citizens to perform their duty to join the People's Public Security are implemented according to the regulations of the Minister of Public Security.

Article 4 of Circular No. 101/2025/TT-BCA stipulates the selection of female citizens to perform their duty to join the People's Public Security as follows:

1. Female citizens who have graduated with intermediate training or higher and have ensured the standards specified in Article 3 of this Circular, if voluntary and the police of the unit or locality have a need, will be considered and selected to perform their duty to join the People's Public Security.

2. Based on the actual needs of the police units and localities, the Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel proposes that the Minister of Public Security consider other necessary training qualifications to select female citizens to perform their duties in the People's Public Security.

Thus, the selection of female citizens to perform their duty to join the People's Public Security is in accordance with the above regulations.
