On December 4, at Cat Hai Special Zone, Hai Phong City Police held a ceremony to announce decisions on the transfer and appointment of key officers of the Special Zone Police. Attending the ceremony were Colonel Pham Viet Dung - Deputy Director of Hai Phong City Police; Lieutenant Colonel Le Nguyen Viet - Deputy Head of PX01 Department of City Police; Mr. Tran Van Phuong - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of the Special Zone; Mr. Phan Viet Dien - Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cat Hai Special Zone and representatives of the leaders of the city's Public Security professional departments, agencies, units of the armed forces and Cat Hai Special Zone Police.
At the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Le Nguyen Viet, Deputy Head of the City Police Department's Organization and Personnel Department, announced the Decisions of the City Police Director, including the transfer and appointment of Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Xuan Hien to work and hold the position of Chief of Cat Hai Special Forces Police; transferring Major Pham Van Thoi to work and hold the position of Deputy Chief of Cat Hai Special Forces Police.
Speaking at the conference, Colonel Pham Viet Dung, Deputy Director of Hai Phong City Police, requested the new Chief of the Special Zone Police to urgently grasp the security and order situation, proactively advise and effectively direct all aspects of work. Especially local management, crime prevention and safety assurance in seaport areas, tourism areas, industrial parks. The Deputy Director of the City Police Department requested the Special Forces Police to strengthen coordination with the Border Guard, the Military Command and professional departments, creating a consistent position in maintaining security and order to serve economic and social development.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Cat Hai Special Zone Phan Viet Dien congratulated the appointed comrades, and affirmed that the People's Committee of the Special Zone will always accompany and create conditions for the police force to successfully complete their tasks, continue to promote their core role in preventing and effectively handling emerging security issues, contributing to building a safe, civilized and sustainable Cat Hai Special Zone.
Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Xuan Hien, the new Chief of Cat Hai Special Forces Police, expressed his honor at being trusted by the leaders to assign important responsibilities, and at the same time pledged to work with the Command Committee and the entire Special Forces Police force to maintain discipline, solidarity and responsibility; improve the quality of work to grasp the situation, innovate direction methods and build forces, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
